74th Class of VB Police Academy
Congratulations to the 74th class of the Virginia Beach Police Academy! The ceremony was held in the beautiful Goode Center at VWU, and I was honored to address the class and their families, along with VB City Manager Patrick Duhaney and VB Police Chief Paul Neudigate.

Great to visit with proud VWU grad Jordan Brown at today’s Access College Foundation Scholarship Awards Celebration at the Virginian Beach Convention Center. Jordan is Lead Pastor at (OV) Church and provided the invocation. He formerly worked at the Foundation.

Congratulations to our new Marlin, Austin Adkins, on receiving an ACCESS Foundation scholarship at today’s ACCESS Awards and Luncheon. We can’t wait to officially welcome Austin, his father Wade, and all new Marlins to campus at Marlin Nation Orientation next week.

Visiting Alex Askew
As the polling places closed in Virginia Beach, it was nice to visit with good friend Alex Askew at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Alex is running for a return to the Virginia State House of Delegates.

Great to visit with Tassos Paphites ’79, member of the VWU Board of Trustees and Athletic Hall of Fame, at Tassos Paphites Soccer Complex. Tassos is also the generous benefactor behind Paphites Pavilion at Birdsong Field and many other VWU Athletics projects.
