As we start a new academic
year, I'm writing to share with you that Director of Physical Plant
Operations Robert Levinsky will be retiring on December 31, 2017. All
Physical Plant operations—including grounds work, housekeeping, and
maintenance functions—are contracted services with Aramark, our
longstanding facilities service provider.
Please join me in
congratulating Rob on his retirement. He has worked closely with us
during one of the most exciting periods in our history. We thank him for
his dedication to Virginia Wesleyan University and wish him the best.
Aramark
will collaborate with us on the selection of a new director in the
coming months. As we continue working through the recommendations of the
Campus Master Plan, we are grateful for our relationship with Aramark
and their professional management of our beautiful facilities.
