Annual VFIC Meeting

Attending the Annual Meeting of the Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges at The Homestead in Hot Springs. Sixty-six business leaders from throughout the Commonwealth serve as Trustees of VFIC and annually meet with the 15-member Council of Presidents to discuss programming and philanthropic goals. Pictured with Sue Birdsong, long-time friend and supporter of Virginia Wesleyan University and VFIC. Sue’s husband, George, is Trustee-emeritus at VWU and serves on the VFIC Board. The Birdsong family’s involvement in VWU traces to our founding in 1961.
