The third chapter of the 2020-2021 President to President thought leadership series is available online today. In "Bringing Corporate America to Your Campus," Eastern Connecticut State University President Elsa M. Núñez, Ed.D., describes the benefits of collaborating with a corporate partner to support student success. Her institution worked with a regional healthcare company to develop a unique internship program that meets the immediate and ongoing needs of students, employers in the region, and the local community.
In this year's President to President series, titled "Fostering a Culture of Innovation," leaders on the cutting edge of higher education offer their perspectives on innovation as it applies to myriad aspects of the college experience. Over the course of 10 chapters, college and university presidents share the lessons they've learned while pursuing innovative ideas at their institutions and provide practical, creative solutions that can be adapted to any campus. We hope you find value in the insights this series provides and look forward to sharing a new chapter with you each month.
