President to President: Chapter 7

The seventh chapter of the 2020-2021 President to President thought leadership series is now available online. In "Leading in Tumultuous Times: The Importance of Mission in Times of Real Change," Mount Saint Mary's University President Ann McElaney-Johnson, Ph.D., explores how higher education institutions can use their overarching missions and longstanding values to guide them as they find innovative solutions to current and future challenges. She describes how her University drew inspiration from its founders' original vision and its core principles in navigating the complexities of a difficult year.

This year's President to President series, titled "Fostering a Culture of Innovation," features the unique perspectives of 10 college and university presidents, presented in a new chapter published online each month. These higher education experts are leading their institutions through challenges that would have seemed unimaginable only a year ago. They share the lessons they've learned and offer innovative solutions. We hope you enjoy reading their insights and find value in the ideas they provide.
