I am pleased to share that our third annual Day of Giving held on Friday, April 23, was bigger than ever. With our matching gift challenge of $10,000 from Trustees Tim Bailey, Class of 1983, and Gary Bonnewell, Class of 1979, our 2021 Day of Giving support totals $30,010.07 from 131 alumni, parents, and friends. We asked our constituents to give to what they love at VWU, so gifts supported a range of priorities at the University including annual scholarships, academic programs, Marlin athletic programs, student life initiatives, and more. I cannot tell you how proud I am to see this incredible show of support from our Marlin community. I thank all those who were able to participate - be it by making a gift or by sharing the campaign with others. It certainly is a great day to be a Marlin! |
