Surprise Graduation for VWU Softball Players

We were excited to hold a special (and surprise) graduation event at DeFord Manor tonight for the VWU softball seniors who missed last weekend’s formal commencement because they were busy winning the NCAA Regionals. These women are true champions on and off the field and we congratulate them and wish them well as they head to the Super Regionals tomorrow!

Dr. Scott D. Miller is President of Virginia Wesleyan University, Coastal Virginia's premier university of the liberal arts and sciences. Previously, Dr. Miller was President of Bethany College (2007-15), Wesley College (1997-2007), and Lincoln Memorial University (1991-97). Dr. Miller was also Executive Vice President (1988-91) and Vice President for Development (1984-88) at Lincoln Memorial University and Director of College Relations and Alumni Affairs at Rio Grande College (now University) in Ohio.
