The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art hosted a celebration of independent higher education in recognition of the 350 college presidents in attendance. Facebook reminded us that while this celebration has occurred on the same day at various locations around the country over the past decade, this was the first time our group of Matt Kilcoyne, Principal at AGB Search; Cheryl Hyatt, Partner at Hyatt-Fennell; and me gathered without our legendary friend, Weezie Fennell who passed away on October 12. So we raised a glass in Weezie’s memory and honor — a tradition we’ll continue in the years ahead.
