Starting the exciting new year at the opening of Marlin Nation Orientation with Sue Larkin, Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs; Veleka Gatling (keynote speaker); Keith Moore, Senior Vice President; and Jason Seward, Associate Vice President for Campus Life & Operational Management. Dr. Gatling, Assistant Vice President for Diversity & Inclusive Excellence at ODU, spoke on “Building A Campus Culture of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion - Understanding Your Role.” Her husband, Rev. Perez Gatling, is Pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church located adjacent to the campus.
