It is with deep sadness that I share the passing of our dear campus community member, Roger Gamez, a valued member of our Sodexo dining services team since 2021.
Roger’s warm smile, signature fist bump, and genuine care for every student and colleague he encountered made him a cherished presence in our community. He embodied the true spirit of what it means to be a Marlin; welcoming, uplifting, and steadfast in his dedication to others.
We will miss Roger greatly, but his legacy of kindness and joy will continue to inspire us all. Please join me in keeping his family and friends in your thoughts during this difficult time.
