Pleased to highlight the partnership between the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art and VWU/Batten University during this month’s Virginia Beach Vision Board meeting at the museum’s beautiful new campus facility. Board members heard from VMOCA Executive Director Alison Byrne and toured the museum. Pictured with Alison and me are Bart Dexter of Hourigan and Virginia Beach Vision Board Chair Brad Martin. Since opening in April, VMOCA has enjoyed strong attendance, helping establish the David R. Goode Fine and Performing Arts Complex as a vibrant cultural destination for our campus and the Hampton Roads region.
