Some of you may have seen the construction taking place in the garden level of Morlan Hall this summer. Since learning that the Bethany Post Office will likely be reducing hours of operation this fall, we are in the process of implementing a new campus mail center for our students.
Students will be able to have mail sent directly to them at the College, and will not need to purchase post office boxes through the United States Postal Service. Yesterday we received confirmation on the mailing address to be used for student accounts and campus offices. Please watch your email in the coming days to be informed of the box number that has been assigned to you and the USPS approved mailing address for all postal mail and packages.
In addition to having mail boxes for all students, faculty and campus offices in Morlan Hall, the Duplication Center is also being moved to the area adjacent to the Campus Mail Center. Currently, no students will be able to purchase stamps or mail packages from this location; that service will continue to be provided by the Bethany Post Office located on Pendleton Street.
I would like to especially acknowledge Hank Cook from our physical plant for building the new mail center and installing the over 900 mail boxes.
