Nota Bene: Protecting Our Brand: Beginning with Comprehensive Publication Planning


In an initial effort to unify our brand and message, I have appointed a campus-wide team that will develop a comprehensive Virginia Wesleyan College Publications Plan. While all are well-intentioned, we have found that we are representing the College in a variety of inconsistent ways and I'd like for us to improve that. 
 
Leona Baker, Director of Marketing and Communications, will lead this team and members will include:
 
Cody Clifton, Director of Sports Information
Nelson Davis, Dean of Admissions
Beth Clarke, Associate Dean of Admissions
Suzanne Savage, Associate Vice President for Advancement
Sandi Billy, Director of the Center for Sacred Music and Artistic Director of the VWC Concert Series
Kelly Jackson, Associate Director of the Center for the Study of Religious Freedom
Vicki Seiler, Director of the Adult Studies Program
Sara Sewell, Executive Director of the Center for Experiential Learning and the QEP
Kate Griffin, Director of Student Activities
 
The charge for the team will be to develop a Publications Plan that includes a timeline and provides consistent branding for VWC. I have asked Leona to present the plan to me by October 1.
