It was a historic day at Virginia Wesleyan University as we broke ground for the magnificent new Susan S. Goode Fine and Performing Arts Center. Scheduled for completion in early 2019, the 23,200-square-foot center will feature an impressive glass-enclosed grand lobby, and a theater that seats an audience of over 300.
Joining me to break ground (bottom, from left): Jon Pruden, Vice Chair of the VWU Board of Trustees, Susan Goode, Trustee and building namesake, Dr. Travis Malone, Dean of the Susan S. Goode School of Arts and Humanities and Professor of Theatre, and Chris Brandt, Executive Vice President of Hourigan Construction.
