Noted author and social scientist Crystal Fleming was tonight's featured speaker for annual Justine L. Nusbaum Lecture, sponsored by the Center for the Study of Religious Freedom at VWU. Her talk was about her book, titled "How to Be Less Stupid About Race: Racism and Anti-Racism in Our Classrooms and Communities." Dr. Fleming is Associate Professor of Sociology and Africana Studies at State University of New York, Stony Brook. Craig Wansink is the Joan P. and Macon F. Brock, Jr., Director of the Center for the Study of Religious Freedom.
