Rehearsal for Commencement

While a steady rain blanketed the campus and surrounding area, 308 students (below) gathered in the Cunningham Gymnasium to receive instructions for Saturday's Commencement. Meanwhile, crews are preparing Convocation Hall in the Jane P. Batten Student Center for the festivities. Our first graduation as Virginia Wesleyan University was to be held on the steps of the beautiful new Greer Environmental Sciences Center, however, bad weather for the remainder of the week necessitated a move inside.
