Today I had the pleasure once again (for the seventh year) of conducting a workshop for aspiring college presidents at the Executive Leadership Academy, sponsored by the American Academic Leadership Institute, the Council of Independent Colleges, and the American Association of State Colleges and Universities. My presentation, "Planning the First 100 Days," shared insight on navigating the months leading up to a college presidency, as well as the first critical days in office.
