A Call for the Acceleration of Equitable and Just Climate Solutions

Today in Tempe, Arizona, higher education leaders across the country, announced a Call to Action: Guiding Principles for Accelerating Equitable and Just Climate Solutions in response to the recent scientific reports that strongly advise unprecedented action in the next decade to avoid the worst impacts of climate change. I serve as Chair of the Climate Leadership Network, and along with Janet Napolitano, President of the University of California (and former Secretary of Homeland Security), and Mariko Silver, President of Bennington College (right), have played a leadership role in the formulation of the Call to Action.
