As many of you may be aware, a shooting occurred this evening at the Virginia Beach Municipal Center. At this point in time, we are unaware of any Virginia Wesleyan community members directly affected by this tragedy.
This news is deeply upsetting—even more so because it hits so close to home.
When tragedy occurs, it is paramount to take care of ourselves so that we may in turn take care of each other. I know we can count on the Virginia Wesleyan family to support our surrounding community as details unfold.
