Great Afternoon With VWU Environmental Institute Scholars

Thoroughly enjoyed visiting with scholars and families from our Virginia Wesleyan University Environmental Institute for ninth grade girls at the Greer Environmental Sciences Center. Participants took part in authentic Environmental Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (E-STEM) experiences alongside a variety environmental sciences professionals. Pictured during the closing ceremony and poster presentation with Dr. Bill McConnell, Chair of the VWU Education Department and Director of VWUEI, and scholars Jade Robb, Lauren Schneider, and Emilia Murphy. Emilia will be a Batten Scholar at Culver Academy this fall.
