French Air Force General André Lanata

It was an honor meeting with French Air Force General André Lanata, Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (SACT), at NATO Headquarters in Norfolk. Virginia Wesleyan University is a proud partner with North Atlantic Treaty Organization-Allied Command Transformation (NATO-ACT) on a variety of programs. One of the most prominent partnerships is the annual Model NATO Challenge for local high school juniors and seniors from Coastal Virginia. These students gather on campus to compete as student diplomats in the Challenge, a simulation that asks the students to respond to a real-life global crisis. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with NATO to enrich the educational experience of our students and others.
