Our final Commencement Ceremony was held today for students in Virginia Wesleyan University Global Campus who earned a Master of Arts in Education, Master of Business Administration and undergraduate degrees completed through VWU Online or the Evening and Weekend Program.
I am so pleased to celebrate the VWU Global Campus Class of 2021 in their own ceremony. These students a different kind of graduate because they either completed their degrees online or started their degrees as an adult. To be a non-traditional student likely means that these students have real-world personal and professional experience that have enriched discussions and enhanced the learning environment throughout their time as a Marlin. They juggle the life they had before starting at Virginia Wesleyan with the life of a student. To be a non-traditional student is a remarkable feat, and we are so proud of these graduates.
