Kerr Stadium in Salem, VA.  More Volleyball Marlins split doubleheader against Catholic and Stevenson The Virginia Wesleyan University women's volleyball team split its pair of matches in a tri-match against Catholic University and Stevenson University on Saturday afternoon in Owings Mills, MD. The Marlins defeated the Cardinals in three sets whilst falling in three to the Mustangs of Stevenson. More Mahoney named ODAC Volleyball Athlete of the Week The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) office announced the Player of the Week for events completed during the week of Oct. 4-10. Virginia Wesleyan's women's volleyball player, Abigail Mahoney, was selected as the ODAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week after helping the Marlins go 3-1 on the week.  More Field Hockey Shenandoah defeats Marlin Field Hockey 9-0 The Virginia Wesleyan University field hockey team fell to the Hornets of Shenandoah University 9-0 on Saturday afternoon at Spring Field in Winchester, VA.  More Women's Swimming Women's Swimming finishes 6th at ODAC Relays Competing in the annual ODAC Relay meet, the women's swim team finished in 6th with 51 points. The meet consisted solely of relay events, with either three or four individuals swimming a leg of each relay.
