Back from the West Coast and the American Academic Leadership Institute (AALI) Board of Directors meeting. The Board’s summer meeting each year is held on the same site and simultaneous to the Council of Presidents meeting of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU). Kudos to AALI President Linda Bleicken, center, who has provided dynamic leadership for the organization for five years, and Shawn Hartman, the AALI COO. I have been on the AALI Board for 11 years and currently serve as Vice Chair.
