We enjoyed our annual Clarke Heritage Society luncheon for individuals who have arranged for a deferred gift to VWU. It was wonderful to see alumnus Ted Smith and former First Lady of Virginia Wesleyan Alice Clarke. She and her late husband, former VWU President Lambuth Clarke, planted the seeds for the thriving university we are today. I'm also pictured with Board Chair Jon Pruden and Vice Chair Nancy DeFord.
