Dear friends,
Virginia Wesleyan University is springing into the new season by offering students new academic programs in high-growth disciplines that meet the current and future needs of our society. Our new online Master of Environmental Studies and Master of Arts in Human Services programs will begin in August, welcoming students to our 2023 U.S. News and World Report nationally-recognized online graduate program.
I'm proud to share that VWU is freezing tuition for the sixth consecutive year. The 2023-24 tuition freeze is just one of many actions we are employing to help our students and their families benefit from the lifelong value of a world-class education.
In athletics, the Marlins continue to make waves. At the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament, three Marlins took home four individual conference championships in men's track and field. Congratulations to Ja'Marri Henderson, Geni Roberts, and Terrian Smith on their outstanding performances in Salem, Virginia! We offer our best wishes as their post-season continues.
Students involved in the Arts at VWU are preparing for a robust upcoming season of exhibitions as well as musical and theatrical performances. The VWU Choirs will travel to New York to perform at the legendary Carnegie Hall later this month.
There is certainly much to celebrate as VWU continues to offer students a premier and affordable liberal arts education in our advantageous location where students thrive.
Sincerely,
