Pleased to attend the awards celebration at the Council of Independent Colleges Presidents Institute to see my food friend and long time colleague Ann Die Hasselmo recognized with the CIC Allen P. Splete Award for Outstanding Service to American higher education. Ann is president emerita of the American Academic Leadership Institute in Washington, D.C. and of Hendrix College (AR). She is the former Managing Director of Academic Search Consultation Service.
