An enjoyable afternoon at New Hope Baptist Church as the Virginia Beach Interdenominational Ministers Conference celebrated the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a lunch and inspiring program led by our good friend Senator Aaron Rouse. With Mayor Bobby Dyer and VB City Councilman Chris Taylor (VWU '06); Speaker Aaron Rouse and his mother, Nadine; City Council member Jennifer Valentine Rouse (VWU '08); Rev. Michael Daniels, retiring Pastor of Enoch Baptist Church, located across from the East Gate entrance of VWU.
