We are all so grateful to hear that Virginia Wesleyan senior Tyler Ostrovecky is safe after the Turks and Caicos Islands, where he was studying with the School for Field Studies, sustained a direct hit from Hurricane Irma. Students were safely evacuated from South Caicos on September 6 in anticipation of severe storm conditions. Tyler will finish out the semester in Panama, where he is pictured here, back row center in blue shirt and glasses.
