Enjoyable and productive meeting in Ashland today of the Association of Educational Institutions (AEI) of the Virginia Conference of The United Methodist Church, a group I am honored to chair. The Methodist presidents met with Bishop Sharma Lewis (center) and John Peters, Director of AEI. Among the topics discussed were collaboration with Africa University, issues in the Virginia Annual Conference and nationally in the church, and the Commission on a Way Forward.
