Enjoyable evening at the Trinder Center tonight as Virginia Wesleyan University and the Virginia Beach Police Department’s 3rd Precinct hosted National Night Out, a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Members of the campus and surrounding community enjoyed an evening of games, fun (a bomb squad with robots!), and food from Nothing Bundt Cakes, Mission BBQ, and Starbucks.
