Enjoyable visit this morning with Brenda Andrews, Owner/Publisher of the New Journal and Guide, with Cee Cee Tucker, VWU Special Advisor to the President. We discussed a variety of topics including internships for students and the digital archive project. The New Journal and Guide is a regional newspaper based in Norfolk and serving the Hampton Roads area. The paper focuses on local and national African-American news, sports, and issues and has been in circulation since 1900.
