Plenty of Senior Comprehensive Examination celebrations occurring on campus -- thanks to Zeta Tau Alpha.

Last night we inducted the first Bethany College students into the Sigma Beta Delta international honor society in business, management and administration. Pictured with inductees Brockton Morehead, Neil Verley, and Kelly Becquet along with Dr. Anju Ramjee, The John F. and Evelyn Casey Steen Professor of Finance, and M.E. Yancosek Gamble, Chair of the Business, Communications and Media Arts Department.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Student Athlete Advisory Committee All-Sports Banquet with keynote Jim Tressel (President of Youngstown State University & former Ohio State/YSU football coach). Joining us for the picture: Bison football coach Bill Garvey and PAC Commissioner Joe Onderko.


Several months ago I was honored to take part in the initiation ceremony of Bethany College's chapter of Sigma Beta Delta international honor society in business, management and administration. Last night, with Dr. Anju Ramjee, The John F. and Evelyn Casey Steen Professor of Finance, we unveiled the campus charter and inducted the first students.

Doug Miller '77 of Pittsburgh is the recipient of the Distinguished Service to Alma Mater Award.
Thoroughly enjoyed visiting with 95-year-old Jim Hawkins (class of 1943) and his daughter, Adele Naylor. Adele, her husband, and I were classmates at West Virginia Wesleyan.

Nice to visit with good friend Walter Bortz '67 in Bethany House. Walter is former long-time President of Hampden-Sydney College and was instrumental in me coming to Bethany in 2007.
