GESC at AASHE

Associate Provost and Professor of Biology Maynard Schaus presented a poster on the Greer Environmental Sciences Center at a conference of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). He is pictured here with Joe Atkins, Principal at VMDO Architects, the architectural design firm behind this magnificent new building. Soraya Bartol, VWU Professor of Marine Biology, and Michelle Amt, VMDO Director of Sustainability, were also co-authors on the poster, entitled "Fulfilling an Academic Mission by Building as a Teaching Tool: Virginia Wesleyan University's Greer Environmental Sciences Center."
