Virginia Wesleyan's President’s Environmental Issues Council (PEIC) has partnered with The Nature Conservancy and Lead On Climate with Second Nature to offer a Community Resilience Building Workshop on campus today. This timely program brings together faculty, staff and students to prioritize steps to reduce risk and improve resilience campus wide. Leading the workshop is facilitator Adam Whelchel (center), Director of Science for The Nature Conservancy. Compliments to Elizabeth Malcolm (right), PEIC Chair and VWU Professor of Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, for putting together this wonderful day-long program.
