Nota Bene: Virginia Wesleyan Welcomes New Chief Information Officer

Today we welcome our new Chief Information Officer, Robert Leitgeb.  He is a strategic thinker who will bring visionary leadership to our technology areas. Robert joins Virginia Wesleyan after serving Fresno Pacific University, Fresno, California, since 2003, most recently as Executive Director of IT Services. Fresno Pacific University is a comprehensive liberal arts university with an enrollment of 3,600.

Prior to his tenure at Fresno Pacific University, Robert served as Director of Technical Operations, Director of IT Projects, Technical Services Manager, and Technical Services Coordinator.  He also has experience as a Network Specialist with TGM Dataworks in Hanford, CA, Communications Specialist with Arrival Communications in Visalia, CA, and Technical Sales Specialist with Westcoast Wireless, Inc., in Tulare, CA. He holds a B.B.A. in Management and Organizations from Idaho State University and an M.A.Ed. in Instructional Technology from Fresno Pacific University.

At Virginia Wesleyan, Robert will lead the College’s technology department and serve on the President's Senior Staff. His office is in Pruden Hall.
