Welcome, Batten Fellows and Shumadine Scholars

Proud to welcome our first class of Batten Honors College students, who we celebrated this afternoon with a Matriculation Ceremony in the beautiful Greer Environmental Sciences Center. Collectively, these 40 students have a grade point average of 4.03 on a 4.0 scale, an average SAT score of 1340, and an average ACT score of 29. Their potential for success is unlimited, and Virginia Wesleyan University is the place to achieve it.
