President's Council Meets Virtually

We hosted the fall meeting of the President's Council this morning. During the meeting, we welcomed our new members (pictured below, from left) - Taylor Adams, Director of Virginia Beach Economic Development; Angie Lombardi, Vice President of Marketing for The Franklin Johnston Group; and Thomas Watkins, Vice President at Cox Business; and Al Wiegert, Vice President at Cox Media - to the President’s Council. 

 

Members heard campus news, updates from the University's Emergency Response Team, and a special presentation from Dr. Craig Wansink, Joan P. and Macon F. Brock, Jr. Director of the Robert Nusbaum Center. I thank this group for their special partnership as they provide VWU students with valuable internships, career development opportunities, and support to the University. Thanks to Brandi Calica '14/ '19, Director of Corporate and Parent Relations, who serves as the liaison for the Council.
