Greeted at the doors of the T.W. Phillips Memorial Library
by housekeeper Madeline Wilson. “Miss Madeline” (as she is known to many)
has worked at Bethany for 46 years. She greets every visitor with a “Good
morning, how are you?” When visitors indicated “We’ll be much smarter
when we come out this door,” she replied, “That’s why we’re here –
knowledge.” Great answer!
