The Virginia Wesleyan College Board of Trustees held its winter meeting on Wednesday, February 17, in the Shafer Room of the Boyd Dining Center.
 
Highlights of actions by the Board include:

  • Construction of the Greer  Environmental Sciences Center
  • Construction of the YMCA Partnership Building
  • Authorizing a “Request For Proposal” for auditing services
  • Authorizing the Executive Committee as the screening committee for the review of real estate development proposals for the 12.68 acres owned by VWC directly across from the College
  • Timeline and objectives for the Space Utilization Study, Facility Assessment, Corrective Maintenance Plan, and 10-year Campus Master Plan
  • Preparations for the re-affiliation visit by the University Senate of the United Methodist Church
