The Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges is pleased to announce
that Dr. Thomas Brown, Associate Professor of Sociology and Criminal
Justice, has been selected as the 2016 H. Hiter Harris, Jr. Excellence
in Instructional Technology Award recipient. Tom’s extraordinary work
in the area of instructional technology set him apart from the strong
field of applicants. Tom will be publically recognized at a November 10
luncheon in Richmond. Provost and Vice President Tim O'Rourke joins
Tom and me at the Virginia Wesleyan Board of Trustees luncheon for the
announcement.
