Honored to present the 2026 Norfolk Sports Club Award this evening to an extraordinary student-athlete, Laci Campbell. A standout in Virginia Wesleyan softball history, Laci has compiled an exceptional career with more than 203 hits, 207 runs scored, 131 RBI, 160 stolen bases, and a .374 batting average while earning All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American honors along the way. Recently appearing in her 200th career game, she continues to rank among the very best in the ODAC and the region. Just as impressive are her accomplishments in the classroom, where she earned Academic All-American recognition. Congratulations to Laci on a remarkable collegiate career and this well-deserved honor.
