So proud of Coach Andrea Hoover, her staff, and the Virginia Wesleyan College volleyball team for an outstanding season and a hard fought 3-1 loss in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship tonight. They lost in four sets to No. 1 Randolph-Macon College 25-11, 25-20, 17-25, 25-20. The finals appearance was the first in school history for the Marlins who broke the school record for wins in the semifinal appearance. No. 2 Virginia Wesleyan, ranked sixth in the most recent regional rankings, will await a potential at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
