Best wishes to all VWC students beginning Winter Session today. Whether you're returning to campus or traveling the world, it's sure to be a rewarding experience. Here's a look at one of the amazing travel experiences our students had during last year's Winter Session. These students hiked into the Ahihi Kina'u Natural Area Reserve in Maui to assist with marine debris removal and snorkel the coastline to observe the effects of ocean temperature rise on coral bleaching. All part of a Recreation and Leisure Studies course called "Maui to Moguls: Adventure Travel's Impact on Culture and the Environment."
