Monday, January 9. Norfolk Mayor Kenny Alexander, Virginia Beach Mayor
Will Sessoms, and OneVirginia2021: Virginians for Fair Redistricting will present a free screening of GerryRIGGED: Turning Democracy on Its Head
from 7-9 p.m. in Blocker Auditorium. The hour-long documentary explores
non-partisan reform efforts underway to address partisan
gerrymandering. A discussion on the issue will follow.
OneVirginia2021
is a leader in advocating for fair redistricting in the Commonwealth of
Virginia. The organization is structured to reflect a commitment to
education and advocacy, with a multi-partisan approach that includes
Republicans, Democrats, and Independents.

Cannon, Executive Director of OneVirginia2021, for organizing this
important event at Virginia Wesleyan College.
