Nota Bene: Virginia Wesleyan University Founders Day Thursday

Virginia Wesleyan was founded in 1961 on principles of higher learning, social responsibility and ethical conduct rooted in United Methodist heritage. Tomorrow (Thursday), we will honor these values, celebrate our history, and look toward our promising future during our annual Founders Day.

On the VWU website you will find the schedule for this year’s full-day Founders Day celebration. Events include:

  • Founders Day Convocation, with featured speaker Dr. Janet L. Adams ’90

  • Environmental Service Project on Campus
  • Tours of the Greer Environmental Sciences Center
  • Wesleyan EcoFestival
