Such an honor to have Dave Hines of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) with us during Homecoming to join in the celebration of the Virginia Wesleyan Softball team. Here, he joins Athletic Director Joanne Renn and I in presenting Hanna Hull awards for the NCAA Division III National Player of the Year and National Freshman of the Year. Hanna led the nation in wins (32 wins and a 32-3 record) and ERA (0.51), while ranking second with 372 strikeouts (in 220 innings).
