Happy Homecoming!
With temperatures expected to be in the 80s, this year’s Homecoming
and Family Weekend forecast is looking sunny and bright. Festivities
began earlier this week with Marlin Spirit Day and Wesleyan Wednesday, and the fun continues today and into the weekend.
Our
events lineup includes the Homecoming Parade, a meeting of the
President's Parents Roundtable, a Performing Arts Showcase, the Friday
Night Flights Alumni Social, dedication of the Betty S. Rogers Track and
Field Center, the annual Homecoming Tailgate, a first-ever Chili
Cook-off, alumni and varsity athletic games, tours of the Greer
Environmental Sciences Center, a ceremony dedicating a tree to the Class
of 2017 Senior Class Gift, an interdenominational worship service, and
more.
