Catching Up With Old Friends

Great to catch up with long-time Virginia Wesleyan Trustee George Birdsong and Diane Nelms of the Obici Healthcare Foundation at today's Suffolk State of the City. George and his family have been generous benefactors of the University since its founding in 1961. Birdsong Hall, Birdsong Field, Birdsong Presidential Suite in Godwin Hall, and the Birdsong School of Social Science are among the many campus tributes to the family. Diane and I were classmates together at West Virginia Wesleyan College (many, many years ago).
