Honoring William T. “Bill” Joseph

This morning we honored the life and lasting legacy of William T. “Bill” Joseph, Virginia Wesleyan's former Vice President of Finance, who passed away in December 2015. Joining us for the Memorial Tree Ceremony was Bill’s wife, Faye Joseph, their daughter Michelle Joseph ’92, son Mark Joseph, his wife Sarah, and their beautiful children. Mr. Joseph was an integral part of our community and helped make our campus the special place it is today. And though I only knew him for a short time, it was clear that he loved Virginia Wesleyan and was committed to the College throughout his 40-year career (1966-2006) and into retirement. Also pictured: Cary Sawyer, Vice President for Administration and Finance, Bruce Vaughan, Vice President Emeritus, and College Archivist Dr. Steve Mansfield, who offered moving reflections on Bill’s life and impact on Virginia Wesleyan.
